I bet he won't run the full season though unless they get sponsorship. The story on Motormile's website even said that so i don't think morris bubble has burst at all. Besides i bet they won't have another scuffle.

North Wilkesboro Speedway - Wed Mar 24, 2010 2:00 pm

Coming off a historic week at North Wilkesboro Speedway in which the power has been turned on and renovations are in full swing for the 2010 season, North Wilkesboro Speedway will begin ticket sales for all events scheduled this year on Monday March 22, 2010 at 8:00 am through the Historic North Wilkesboro Speedway website.

After months of planning and finding the right solution for the speedway Historic North Wilkesboro Speedway partnered with Alabama based ticketing company Ticket Biscuit. “This has been several months in the works, to make sure the solution worked well with our ticket office” said Steven Wilson

Last Friday North Wilkesboro Speedway began a pre-sale to our newsletter recipients and have received a lot of great feedback on the affordability of tickets to all events at North Wilkesboro Speedway in 2010, all tickets to events will be priced at $17 in advance, and just $30 for the 3 day Short Track Shootout Weekend in October featuring the ASA Sunoco National Tour Kings Ransom 300 championship race. On May 15, 2010, North Wilkesboro Speedway will host the Red Carpet Movie Premier of Red Dirt Rising, featuring Matt Dylan in concert and 20 lap Legendary Ford Flathead series 20 lap race for only $15 in advance.

In addition to online sales Historic North Wilkesboro Speedway will begin offering sales in person at our ticket office located at 381 Speedway Lane in North Wilkesboro beginning April 3 from 10 – 4 every other Saturday, and during operating hours on weekends Buck Baker Racing School will be running.

“This is a historic day in speedway history, it’s been 14 years since tickets were sold and we are gracious to be able to offer this again back to those who love the history of racing and especially all those who have longed for racing to return to North Wilkesboro Speedway, here is your chance to join us in the comeback season in 2010” said Alton McBride Jr. President/CEO of Speedway Associates.

Myrtle Beach 400 (Limiteds) - Tue Jan 05, 2010 10:34 am

They had a good amount of mod-4's there and they sure did put on a show. That was probally the best mod-4 racing i have seen anywhere.

Myrtle Beach 400 (Limiteds) - Mon Jan 04, 2010 7:28 pm

Yeah it was good. They even said over the PA that Anthony was the champion at motormile and scott drives there as well. We will possibly go down again next year to see if we can bring the win back to VA.

oldjoe9 wrote:your right the 84 did get better each race. and he will get better this year, ithink he did a great job considering it was his first year at mms. i think the 27 will be good in ss he is like the other young drivers who just need good luck and laps , laps, laps. the more experienced gained is the he will use. he had some bad luck last year that wasnt his doing but i think he will be a factor in 2010. the 08 mod 4 i really didnt see but 1 race. i will say its a nice piece. i think he too will be fine in 2010 laps, laps, laps. no one came out of the woom and straight into a race car. the more laps he gets the better he will be. good luck too all!

I have to agree with you oldjoe9. Ya have to get laps. I'm trying my best to get as much practice in as i can before the year starts but one thing you have to have to win a championship is being consistent. Joe, me and you have talked about that too. I just beieve anyone can have a shot at it if they stay consistent. But well said Joe.

2010 Season - Sun Dec 13, 2009 10:28 pm

oldjoe9 wrote:i think the car count will be great in all divisions except mod 4 i think some will move up or not race as much. my predictions to win championships are barry gregory in street stock , bryan reedy in mod 4 if he runs if he doesnt its wide open. phillip morris in late model and i have been thinking about the limited deal for 3 weeks now since i made my mind up i wasnt coming back for a chance at 3 in a row i really dont think you will see the 3rd in a row. roger, matt, scott, travis, nathan, and if michael mcguire shows up that adds even more. i wish the 9 team luck but i dont see it happening. so i predict travis hurt to win the championship in limited this upcoming year.

I wouldn't count Anthony out this year because if you look back at the past two years we had a carb infraction in 08 and a blown engine this season. So i think the possibility is there for sure it will just be tough.
